Group Piano Lessons

Group piano lessons are currently available to graduates of a preschool music program. Classes are for 3 to 4 year-olds. The schedule is determined by each group that forms.

Piano Puppies is a natural transition from Music Together® classes to future formal lessons. Four 3-4 year old Music Together graduates meet once a week for 8 weeks (45 minutes) with a parent in tow. Younger siblings are welcome also. The goal is for them to learn all the notes on the keyboard and the note values (quarter notes, half notes, etc), and they do! They also learn the basics of ensemble playing , performance infront of others and recorder playing (each child has their own keyboard plus we use a regular piano). All concepts are presented in a slightly-structured, playful way.

Cost for an 8-week semester is $150 which includes materials (books and recorder). Payment is due at the first class and is non-refundable. Classes occur whenever 4 parents can agree on a day and a time that also fits in with Jo's schedule. Call Jo at 608-772-1522 for more information.
